This policy explains how NePasSorcier.com LLC (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with the RapidExtract app for Mac and this website.

The RapidExtract app
Your documents
RapidExtract reads the documents you choose, finds the files embedded in them, and saves the files you select to the location you choose. All of this happens on your Mac. We never see your documents, their contents, their names or the files you extract.
RapidExtract runs in the macOS App Sandbox. It can read only the files you open with it and write only where you choose to save, and it is built without permission to connect to the internet. Linked objects that point to files elsewhere are listed but never fetched.
RapidExtract keeps no history or list of the documents you open.
Settings
RapidExtract remembers your settings, such as the language you choose, your text size and the size and position of its window. These settings are stored on your Mac by macOS and are never sent to us.
Crash reports
RapidExtract doesn't include any crash-reporting or analytics software. If you've chosen in macOS to share analytics with app developers, Apple may share crash reports and related diagnostic information about RapidExtract with us. Apple controls that sharing and describes it in its own privacy policy. We use any such reports only to find and fix problems in RapidExtract. You can turn this sharing off in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.
Purchases
If you obtain RapidExtract through a third-party store, that store processes your purchase under its own privacy policy. We don't receive your payment details.
When you email us
If you write to apps@nepassorcier.com, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. We use this only to reply to you and to fix problems you report. We keep correspondence only as long as we need it for those purposes, and we delete any sample documents you send once the issue is resolved.
We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it with anyone except the provider that hosts our email, which handles it on our behalf.
This website
This website is hosted by Netlify. Like most web hosts, Netlify automatically processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Netlify's handling of this information is described in its own privacy policy.
We don't use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking on this website, and every page and font is served from this site.
Children
RapidExtract and this website aren't directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices
Because the app collects nothing, there is no app data about you for us to show, correct or delete. If you've emailed us, you can ask what correspondence we hold from you, or ask us to delete it, by writing to apps@nepassorcier.com.
Changes to this policy
If we change how RapidExtract or this website handles information, we'll update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect.
